2021 Screen Music Awards Nomination

I’m delighted to be nominated for a Screen Music Award “Best Music for a Documentary” for the music she composed for Quoll Farm. The annual Screen Music Awards are presented by APRA AMCOS in conjunction with the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC). The ceremony acknowledges excellence and innovation in the field of screen composition. Quoll Farm is a true story of a family of charismatic quolls living on an abandoned farm in Tasmania and one man's extraordinary devotion to save them. I had the pleasure of speaking recently to Stephanie Eslake from Cut Common about the process of writing the score, working with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and the inspiration of thew quolls and their habitat.
